We went to The Swan this evening, booked a table and it was a bit spur of the moment. On arrival we got a really warm welcome from the young waitress and shown to our table. We were given menus and the specials board to peruse. Drinks were ordered and we were welcomed again by the very friendly gentleman in shorts (sorry ,don't know names) Our food orders were taken and oh my goodness, both dishes that we ordered were delicious, well presented and piping hot. I had the duo of Lamb and my husband had Pie of the day with mash. Generous portions. Desserts were just as delicious and well presented. All in all a very good evening and a great way to celebrate our Wedding anniversary. Many thanks Heather Cox
Lovely pub - friendly staff who were very accommodating & approachable. The pub itself is decorated beautifully & they had the fire on which created a lovely atmosphere. The food was great - we all ordered different dishes and we were all happy. The steak inside the ciabatta was soft and had a delicious flavour, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lovely roast dinner with friendly and accommodating staff. Would highly recommend!
Went here today for a little pre xmas meal. Food was fantastic and the owners and staff are so friendly. Can not wait to go back.......I did have however have food envy as the Christmas Dinners came out, (i opted for the pie of the day) they looked and smelt fantastic. We will be back in the new year to book for a roast dinner. Fabulous
The place looks really bright and neat, almost like a trendy restaurant. Fabulous people hosting, super welcoming and showcase great customer care. Stable pub food but super tasty coming in generous portions and lovely presentation. Our birthday celebration happened to be on a Tuesday when you'd get a free pudding with every meal!!! But they also have a nice surprise for every day of the week. One of the best pubs I've been to. Would love to go again.
The food was absolutely amazing! Excellent quality and cooked to perfection. Beautiful presentation. The building itself needs a refurbishment inside and out. If that was done, this could be a fabulous gastro pub. The waitress was very good .
